Smart Screen On Off is a practical utility designed to automate screen activation and deactivation through the use of the proximity sensor and a double tap on the Home Screen, eliminating the need to manually press the power button. The application features a floating power head at a convenient location, offering a quick method to turn off the screen.
Situations where pressing the power button proves cumbersome, or preservation of the physical power button is a priority, can be addressed with Smart Screen On Off and its floating power head feature. This combination helps reduce reliance on the power button in various scenarios.
The app requests the Device Administrator permission to facilitate locking the device when utilizing the screen turn-off function. Enabling Administration is a prerequisite for utilizing this feature, and uninstallation of the app can be done through accessing the app and selecting the "Uninstall" option.
Additionally, the app leverages Accessibility services for detecting the home screen smoothly.
